ABOUT COVEY PROMOTIONS:

Covey Promotions (Covey Pro), was founded in August of 2006 by Cody Covey, Covey has been a Professional Wrestler since 2003, and holds a Professional Wrestler's License/Certification in all states on the east coast which requre them. Performing as "Cody McGraw" and "SGT Cody McGraw", Covey has wrestled all over the east coast for various organizations in Florida, Georgia, Nort Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Deleware, and Pennsylvania. Covey has also wrestled and worked with some "Big Name Superstars" such as: Kevin Nash, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Tatanka just to name a few. In October of 2008 Covey was given the opportunity to try out for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), in Tampa Florida at Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). In his Try-Out Match he wrestled "Byron Willcott" a wrestler from Texas who was apart of the PCW Texas Wrestling Promotion featured on "The Bussey Bunch" TV Show on TLC. Even though Covey did not receive a contract, Willcott did and at the time of this writing still works for WWE. Covey Promotions held its first show on September 23rd 2006 at BSHS Gym in Berkeley Springs WV, since then Covey Promotions has run several shows in Berkeley Springs WV, as well as several other towns across the state, as well as Pennsylvania. On April 26th 2008 Covey Promotions drew its biggest crowd attendance in our history, nearly 600 people attended the show to see Kevin Nash take on SGT Cody McGraw for the Covey Pro Heavyweight Title! In October of 2009 Covey Promotions secured a local TV deal with WJAL TV 68 out of Chambersburg PA, and the Covey Pro Wrestling TV Show airs every Saturday Night at 11pm on WJAL TV. Since our beginning Covey Pro has always strived to be the #1 Independent Wrestling Promotion in West Virginia and the surrounding areas, and we have built a reputation to be just that, giving our fans what they pay their hard earned money for, bringing in such "Big Name Superstars" as: Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Matt "Spike Dudley" Hyson, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Kevin Nash, Axl Rotten, The Iron Sheik, Sunny and Tatanka!
